Ways to Supplement Your Real Estate Investing Income
Whether the real estate market is doing good or bad, you need to have other streams of income coming in. If nothing else, you need to have other income sources these days to be able to qualify for a loan. Here are some ways that you can supplement your real estate investing income.
Create a real estate related blog. Even in this down market, people are interested in learning how to invest in real estate. You could write a blog about real estate investing. I’m sure you read a lot about the subject. You could make recommendations about books you’ve found useful, then recommend those books using an amazon affiliate link. If you’ve taken a real estate course that you found useful, arrange a joint venture deal with the person running the course and recommend the course in your blog.
You could also give teleseminars about real estate. Teleseminars are super easy to set up; all you need is a telephone and a conference line. Just go to google and type in “free teleconference line” and you’ll find lots of providers of free conference lines. Remember that course you found interesting? Contact the person leading the course and invite them to be a guest on your teleseminar. Offer to split the profits with that person. Now you have a product that you can sell on your blog, and added to your credibility by teaming up with the instructor of a real estate course.
You could also give live workshops about real estate investing. I’m sure there are new real estate investors that would love to learn what you already know about real estate investing. You can rent a space to hold the class relatively inexpensively and charge a fee for attendance.
Real estate investing can be quite unpredictable, so it’s helpful to have additional streams of income. You never know what can happen in your real estate business. Having an additional stream of income can help insulate you against unexpected emergencies.
